What’s coming up with WordCamp Kolkata 2019?
WordCamp Kolkata 2019 will be an exciting, Knowledge sharing and informative one-day event to be held on Sunday 3rd March 2019 at Biswa Bangla Convention Center, Kolkata.
This is the first WordCamp chapter of Kolkata community contributing to the global series of WordCamps. The WordPress Kolkata community is super excited to host it for all WordPress enthusiasts and contributors.
As known as the city of joy, Kolkata dedicates and themes its first WordCamp to the 75th anniversary of the iconic Howrah Bridge which strongly depicts the bonhomie of communities making the valiant contribution.
Our Logo and banner contain the historic Howrah bridge not only connecting the city with other but also connecting hearts. We promise a welcoming, engaging, casual, safe and eventful WordCamp featuring distinguished speakers and something for everyone from beginners to expert. And the whole community thanks and look forward to the sponsors who believe in the open source WordPress project to help to make this event possible.
WordCamp Kolkata is one among many WordCamps that happen around the globe every year, And WC Kolkata 2019 is the first ever WordCamp of Eastern India. We started up with a baby step and today our community officially holds 674 members along with 218 members on our facebook official group. We are proud as well as grateful that this was made possible just because of the awesome Community members and the people who believed on open source projects who kept us moving and growing and of course our hard working volunteers and organizing team.
