Kolkata has a personality of its own due to its historical, social and cultural importance. Wapuu Da depicts the Identity of Kolkata.
He is all dressed up in Dhoti and Punjabi reflecting the essence of common Bengali people.
He stands for brotherhood, knowledge, unity, diversity and the energy that the people of Kolkata have.
He loves to learn, share, inspire and loves to gorge on food always. Roshogollas are his favorites and he invites everyone to share his favorites.
